The world opens up, cultures discover each other, embrace each other, get closer. The Orient inspires novelists and painters, philosophers and perfumers. Edo Park is the olfactory image of Japan in the eyes of Europe. A no-brainer: osmanthus.
Mythical flower of Asian culture, it is at the center of the composition. The woods call for elevation, illustrate the traditional temples. Citrus and Siberian pine notes paint the atmosphere of the prints, where vast landscapes spread silently. Edo Park praises this distant, yet so close, perceptible, palpable.

The Edo Era in JAPAN
江戸時代 glorious period with the birth of Kabuki and the development of the arts. This photo was taken in the 1930s, well after the start of the Edo era, and illustrates the continuity of Japanese culture through the centuries.
Top notes
Citrus fruits and Siberian pine, fresh and aromatic notes that accompany us in Japanese parks
Heart notes
Osmanthus, which marks the month of October in Japanese gardens, and freesia to soften and accompany the base notes
Background notes
Amber woods and Virginia Cedar structure this perfume and give it this depth that only light notes cannot bring.
